One of our main goals is to serve our Muslim community. This is a major part of our faith. Allah (SWT) always connects faith and action in the glorious Quran. In the above Hadith, our beloved Prophet (PBU) said (a very close meaning) the best among you is the most useful to people and the best deeds are the ones that lift the distressed, help the needy and the hungry …and the Prophet swore by Allah ,,,that the one that helps a brother or a sister or answers the call when needed is better than worshiping inside a masjid for a month.
Although our resources are limited, we try our best to live up to this and to do what we can to help. Given that most of our community are refugees with low income, we need to prioritize and we do! We have helped facilitated meditate sessions on simple day-to-day disputes, we helped brothers and sister place in colleges, we helped brothers and sisters in finding jobs, in many day-to day needs, etc.
InshAllah, with your help and the help of others by volunteering and donating we will be there when needed. We will have community functions as well.
